Local Government Elections were held on October 20th, 2007.  Five vacancies were advertised and ten nominations were received.  The actual turnout of electors was higher than the previous ordinary election of 2005. The following candidates were elected as Councilors for the Shire of Wiluna.

At the Ordinary Council Meeting of October 25th, 2007, John Kyanga was elected as President and Anne Geary was elected as Deputy President.
